BROKEN PIECES

Recently I was meeting with a dear friend and one of my favorite necklaces broke. The actual clasp broke and to me it couldn’t be fixed without buying an extra piece. My friend took my necklace and began trying to find a way to fix it. As I watched my dear friend work at fixing my broken necklace, I had a thought.

How does God fix our brokenness?

When we can trust God with what’s most precious to us, He can begin to work on our brokenness. He takes that which is most dear to us(in my case that would have been my heart) and works effortlessly to mend it.

I literally can’t get that image out of my mind because it’s a strong reminder of how much God loves me.(you too~smile) Our precious brokenness can only be fixed by the unconditional love of God.

What brokenness are you going to hand over to God today?

I TRUST YOU WITH MY BROKENNESS

Oh Lord, I see your love in the way you asked for my brokenness.

Your care and embrace of my heart brings me to tears.

There was a time when I didn’t trust you to heal me and it almost cost me my life.

Oh Lord, take my precious brokenness and fix it with your loving touch.

Oh Lord, make me whole again so that I can love again and I will thank you Lord for fixing my precious brokenness.
