Can you share a positive example of where you’ve felt loved?
Early 2023 a dear friend of mine who is an awesome seamstress made the dress in the picture and I literally bought it as soon as I saw. It spoke to me! I saw myself in a new way because of that dress. My young men had graduated high school and my life was becoming mine again. I wanted to do a photoshoot in my new dress to celebrate ME. The day I took this photo I felt love for myself and myself only. I felt that my time was beginning again and I wanted to embrace it real tight.
As far as I can remember, I showed up for my children, my friends, and my family but forgot to show up for myself. I had to learn to love me again. Not in a selfish conceited way but in a healthy way where I felt alive like never before. Since that photoshoot I’ve fallen so much in love with the women God has allowed me to become and for THAT I’M THANKFUL.
